Kimi Antonelli’s lead in the F1 drivers’ title has been reduced to 18 points, following George Russell winning the Canada Sprint.

Russell converted pole into victory at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, although did fight very hard Antonelli who demanded for the Briton to be penalised.

Antonelli had to settle for third in the sprint, with Lando Norris finding himself in a Mercedes sandwich in Montreal.

Norris finds himself fourth in the standings, while Charles Leclerc still fits third in the championship after finishing in fifth.
