IRC: Tsjoen retires.

Abarth Grande Punto driver Pieter Tsjoen has confirmed that he has decided to quit the sport following the Rally of Ypres, the third round of the 2007 Intercontinental Rally Challenge.

“It’s something that has been on my mind for quite a while,” explained Tsjoen, when asked about his decision. “I have many other commitments and I felt that it was not fair to my co-driver and my team if I did not have the same level of commitment as they all have. So for these reasons, I thought it was best to stop now and Ypres was my last rally.”
